On Tuesday 27th July 2010, Katherine Sayles wowed her audience of musical professionals in a performance of classical arrangements from her debut album at Beach Blanket Babylon, Notting Hill.The private reception provided the perfect opportunity for her audience to hear a new and imaginative recital of Ave Maria composed by herself and record producer Max Herman, and a new moving and dramatic piece called Se Potessi composed by Grammy- nominated Italian composer, Marco Mariangeli. Katherine completed her performance with a stunning new composition composed by Maestro Ennio Morricone, which left her audience mesmerised and dewy-eyed. There was a rapturous applause from onlookers who seemed in little doubt that Miss Sayles will be the next classical sensation.
Katherine says:“It was unbelievably exciting to be performing music from my debut album for the first time. It is fabulous to be singing my own compositions alongside such wonderful songs composed by some of the world’s greatest composers. It was especially overwhelming that my music was also so well received, I couldn’t have wished for a better response.”Beach Blanket Babylon provided the perfect backdrop for the evening with its eclectic mix of classical meets modern, Katherine fitted in perfectly. The blond bombshell looked breathtaking in a traditional Grecian dress with her own unique stylish twist.We will certainly be seeing and hearing a lot more from Katherine Sayles.
